Welcome to WorcesterEMS.com, the home page for Worcester Emergency Medical Services. We are the 9-1-1 ambulance provider for the City of Worcester, Massachusetts and the Town of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. We are an all-paramedic ambulance service serving a permanent population of over 200,000 and covering an area of roughly 60 square miles.

Owned an operated by UMassMemorial Health Care, the department began in 1977 as part of Worcester City Hospital. While that institution has long since closed and most of those early members of our department have moved on to other things, we strive to continue their legacy through superior patient care and professionalism.
